-----ok logically we will go to the parade first , we can either march in it or follow alongside it, but if we follow the parade we end up at the pridefest without having to rely on my horrible sense of direction. this will be an all day thing we have to be in NYC by at least 11:30am so we can find the start of the parade. i don't know what time we will be back at night..obviously if you need to leave early or if i want to go to something you don't you don't have to come along. we can split up and meet later or whatever, i'm meeting some friends from college there, they are from the gay club i'm in (SALE) and they are probably reading this. hi! this is not a real organized thing, if you wanna come you come and you leave whenever you want. i'm going to the parade and the pridefest and whereever else i decide to go afterwards..any ideas are welcome i'm fine with being there till late in the night but i don't want to get stuck in penn station again so we have to make at least the last train back to jersey.

yea and to the sale people...since i will hopefully be working by june i'm only taking the 25th off. but i'm going all day, i'm saving money starting now. if i can make to anything else you guys wanna go to i'll try.

i'm off to florida tomorrow really early in the fucking morning dude i have to wake up before 5am!!!! grr...anyway...i'll be back june 7th. feel free to call me anyway it just means i'm way to far away to hang out unless you are also on vacation in florida. i'll be in tampa. i'm going to visit the parental units and check out their house because i still haven't seen the goddamn thing. i'm still mad they don't have a pool...i miss my pool in jersey....grrr. oh and i got my grades...they suck, not happy, please don't yell at me it won't help me. but here they are:

brit writers- b- (wow! i was failing this class midsemester, this grade i'm happy about)
human biology- c (i swear he had pity on me)
amer writers 2- d (yea this sux, but i'm sure i deserve, i did horrible on his tests..he talks too fast and covers way too much material)
gay&lesbian lit- c (grr he's mean i got good grades in this class, i dunno how that made me get a c but whatever)

yea so i'm still on probation and i still haven't told my parents..i'm waiting for my letter..i don't know if i can be on probation for more than one semester or if i have to appeal or if i get kicked out for a semester or what...so i'll tell you when i know...i hope they just keep me on probation and make me take their extra help program it might help anyway.

(this happened a few days ago)
Ok, I’m staying at my brother’s apt. in Madison gardens. The fucking place requires 3 keys to open the damn door. So I had to go and make copies of my brother’s keys. So I go to Wal-mart with Amber. I ask the greeter where I can do this and he stares at me like I gave him my high school math homework and goes....“I don’t know, ask customer service.” So I go ask them. They tell me I have to go to TLE. I stare at her and go, “What?” Oh, the tire and lube express....and then assumes I know where it is. When they figure it out she like points and explains. Ok good. I go over there and make 2 of the keys; apparently they didn’t have the other one. So they sent us to home depot which also consists of some special morons. So we go and ask where they make keys. They tell us the key station and then the turn around and go back to whatever they were doing and then they realize that I’m still there and give me fucked-up directions to the back of the store...which did not help so we went to the back of the store and asked another person for directions, they sent us to a little key booth type thing which no one was working at. So we stood there for like 5 minutes and then I asked a cashier how we go about getting someone to help us make the key, they in turn have to ask someone else what to do, and then they make an announcement for someone to help us. And finally I have 3 keys...I swear people reach a new level of specialness everyday. I’m aware that that may have been a boring story but I figure if it was so horrible you would not still be reading this. So I’m done blabbing now, have a nice day. And if you don’t wanna have a nice day, no pressure you don’t have to, it’s ok.

ok. i've been neglecting lj, deviant art has become my new crack. i'm obsessed. go see mine, CasperLaramie13. and check out my faves i found some awesome people. oh and amber an i died my hair the dark red color, pics soon, i promise. but it was great, i washed out the hair dye in the shower and it looked like a murder scene seriously, when i get a chance i want to take picture of the murder scene for deviant art. basically since i am jobless i am a pathetic bum who sits around all day in my brother's apt watching tv. i start work june 12th at parlin blockbuster. ahh blockbuster again..by the way i got a birthday card from ihateblockbuster.com. it was cute. i joined there ages ago.and i'm freaking out about my grades they are supposed to be up tomorrow, i'm going nuts. stupid school. and i'm a moron, i have to ship back library books that i accidentaly packed to school.

Ok now I'm 21. yay. can drink legally, instead of illegally. Yea so i was in my first 21 only bar and actually got to have my state id be useful for something other then getting into the colosseum (however the silly gay bar spells that word). So we were amused so me steve and nicole made a list of what i drank. so here it goes----

1) black forest (drink)--->some kind of strong thing, didn't like, had that one during dinner.

3) prarie fire (shot)--->weird..has tabasco in it supposed to be spicy wasn't too horrible but i wouldn't reccomend it.
4 and 5) dirty girl scout (shots) --->had 2 of these just b/c they are good and i'm a girl scout. they pretty much tastle like thin mints in liquid form.
6) cement mixer-->(shots) ok this is two shots, first u have bailey's you don't swallow than you have this lime stuff and mix it in your mouth than swallow. it makes a jello-like texture in your mouth, they thought i would not be able to swallow it. it was weird but interesting.
7) washington apple (shot)---> actually very good, apple flavored.
8) 3 wise men (shot)---> strong and disgusting....yick.
9) whiskey sour(drink)---> didn't drink all, tooo sour.
10) sex on the beach (drink)---> good, of course.

ok and i'm still not drunk, i guess i'm not a lightweight, i thought i would be. ok anyways i have a 9:30 class in the morning so sleep may be a good idea. ;)

Logic behind Rock, Paper, Scissors

I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there's no fucking way Paper can beat Rock.

Paper is supposed to magically wrap around Rock leaving it immobile? Why the hell can't paper do this to scissors?

Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people?

Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class?

yea i pretty much get to run day of silence in april, the pres. (travis) pretty much gave the job to me. it'll be fun though. i mean i pretty much ran and put together day of silence at SWMHS(with some help obviously from my friends). i just can't wait, i love day of silence, i want to be quiet from 12am-12am like i was last time. it was great. ;)

yea my roommate is gonna be an RA (resident assistant, basically a person who gets a paycheck from the school her job is to watch the girls on her wing, and plan events in the hall). so that mean's i have no roommate come sept. b/c one of the perks of RA is that u get your own room...so let's take your pick and see what weirdo i wind up with, but i guess that's part of the whole college expierience.

yea. if all the paperwork goes through my house (in nj) is goona be sold to friends of ours. so the people decided to be nice and let me stay in a room of the house over the summer. so i get to live with them for free and watch their kids just to help them out sometimes. and my parents will be off to florida. and i swear if dad tries to ask me to go with them one more time i will kill him. jersey is home, i know i knock it, but jersey and my friends here and at college are my life, i won't give that up.

----anyways in gay club on campus news..we had blue jeans day (basically u wear blue jeans to support gay rights)..we strung up blue jeans in the CUB off of the stairways and people were so confused regardless of the 10 billion signs that said about the day they r just like staring up going.."what is with the jeans? is someone doing laundry or something?" it was funny so little kid looked up and said "mommy, look at all the wet pants!!!!" and some silly girl in cf (cfristian fellowship" wore jeans and a sign that said..."i do not support gay rights. my clothing does not dictate my sexuality" yea i tried hard not to kill her and b/c physical violence looks bad on behalf of the gay club (SALE) i sat her down and explained why she was being ignorant...i still don't think she gets it but she apoligized...damn bible thumpers.

i have 98. i worked at blockbuster what do you expect.

I haven't really updated in a while so i should say, i'm back at shippensburg until spring break which is march 9-20 and then i go back again and class ends in may after my birthday sometime before amber and joey's, i think. school's ok. i started my gay and lesbian lit class. and i have a desire to ask if we can have a show of hand for how many gay people are in that class, not to be stereotypical, but they all seem, act and look straight. damn lnowing how rude it is to ask otherwise i so would. lol. o and on a another note, my grades from last semester....two words...ACADEMIC PROBATION...don't wanna talk too much more about it. i'm just gonna call it a transitional period. If i get my grades up this semester i'll be ok. and being as i know at least one person in all of my classes, i have people to bug for help. Oh and in a ranting fashion i had to read this really annoying thing for brit writers 1. This crazy christian lady named Julian of norwich has repetitive visions about god and the holy trinity. I swear i wanted to kill it. the whole thing was 10 pages long with the word "god"in it every two seconds. i'm sorry if some wacko women locks herself in a room and sees representaions of god and feels the need to get all preachy, so be it, but let's not go all crazy and call it literature. ok done ranting. (for now)

in other news:

i bought awesome new head wear. people here in pa know me by bandannas and occasional curls. i made some good friends here. my original roommate moved out to live with her friends (no it had nothing to do with me, she was never in the room anyway). i had no roommate for a while. i made friends with one of the desk assistants. her name is april. he roommate was being evil so april moved in with me. wee bunked the beds. i'm on top. i like it. rooming with her is good. i miss my privacy but i still get it every now and then.  i was a convict for halloween. i got to have chains (for my costume). they were fun to play with. i went to my friend(from ship) heather's house for the weekend before halloween. she has a spirit board that is possessed by a spirit named hector. heather, her dad and i talked to it. hector started talking about my grandfather. (the grandfather from florida that died in august). the second he mentioned him i freaked (in my head of course). i tried really hard not to cry and i'm glad i didn't. hector started saying that grandpa wanted me to find his gold watch. i tried to explain to hector that the watch is in florida and i'm too far away to find it myself. hector did not seem to understand my situation, so he said, "so die i'll share my bored and lollies". lol. we all cracked up laughing. (did i mention hector is obsessed with lollipops?) hector, hit one me and heather when her dad left. he said "cute girls now". hector was good though. he made me feel a bit better about grandpa being dead, but it still hurts. i'll be ok.  so now on mime and april's message board it says, "so die i'll share my bored and lollies." by the way apparently according to jena my uncle vinne (her dad) has the watch. now i just have to find out why he wants it, and how to tell him i found it.

i get to dress in drag. lol. see SALE (the gay club on campus that i'm in), is having a drag show on december 8th and they want all sale members that are attending to dress in drag. so yay. i finally get to see what i look like in drag. yes i will have pictures. and i'm helping with the vagina monologues, i don't think i'm acting for it. o if anyone has any ideas for me in drag do tell. the song is gypsies tramps and thieves. so since gypsies and tramps are more drag queen esk, i'll be a thief. besides it suits me. ;).

monday- human bio 2-3:15pm, gay and lesbian lit 5-6:15pm, 20th century world lit 6:30-9:15pm

tuesday/thursday- history and structure of the english lang. 12:30-1:45pm, british writers 1 2-3:15pm

wednesday- human bio 2-3:15pm, gay and lesbian lit 5-6:15pm

Fri-sun- no class. ;)

yay. no morning classes and fridays off. and yay gay and lesbian lit. ;) i also got a job at wendy's. yea i know kill me. they've been making me do the drive through window which isn't horrible. but i think i'll quit at the end of the semester. it's like a half-an-hour walk. and the dining halls in school are hiring. that would be easier. i think thats it for now. -missa ps. i'll be home in nj from nov.22-27. since my parents have yet to sell the house, i'll be there.

and check out my dawson's creek icons (not made by me). i used to mock dawson's creek when it came out, but i'm a hypocrite because i've been watching the reruns on tbs everyday and taping them on tivo (yes i bought a tivo, its awesome.). i am such a sucker for teen angst dramas. that must explain my o.c. obsession. lol.

in other quick news (b/c i need sleep)...

i hate filling out job applications and looking for a job. damn not driving and imaginary amount of available work hours. i have filled out and turned in an application for every hiring place around town here. i thing it was somewhere around 10 apps in total. It's a small town, i tried to pick places i could walk to so i don't have to rely on the bus. someone better fucking call me, i don't have much money left, and all this free time is making me into much more of a slacker than i can stand to be right now. I have been walking around town all day and i have either allergies or a head cold (i can't tell), so now i shall go attempt sleep.
